I’m a Texas expat recently relocated to Santa Monica, CA. I’m passionate about education, technology and information literacy. I love all things tech, social media, web, gaming, gadgets, design, art and books.
my work
After graduating from St. Edward’s University in 2007 with a BA in Communication, I worked at Apogee Search (now Apogee Results) running SEO campaigns for B2B and B2C clients across several industries. I returned to SEU in August 2008 as the Computer Training Coordinator in the Office of Information Technology’s Instructional Technology department. I trained a diverse population of students, faculty and staff on supported software like MS Office and the Adobe Creative Suite, along with teaching web design & standards during in-person classes and workshops, and via print, web and video documentation. The intention of this tumblog is to provide a space where I can share and comment on news/resources about emerging technologies and other nerdy/IT/training/media topics (with the inevitable not-quite-relevant, personal interest story thrown in - I’m a multi-faceted lady here).
