How Apple and Amazon Security Flaws Led to My Epic Hacking

Watching Mat on TWIT and reading his story have definitely inspired some additional security measures and changes on my part regarding my backup and cloud accounts. 

A few favorite head-smacking tips from Mat’s article:

  1. Back up your computers!!
  2. Enable Google two-step verification (I did this for my Blizzard account too after my WoW account got hacked.)
  3. Don’t tie your Google and AppleID accounts together.
  4. Your recovery email address should not be tied to major services you use.
